Overview:
Excellent organizational, leadership, decision-making and communication skills are necessary to perform the functions as described. Incumbent must be adept at devising and delivering solution improvements, persuading, and influencing to effect change. Strong business acumen with a sense of shareholder responsibility are essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage a team of analysts and developers. Oversee all key management activities of assigned staff involving recruitment, performance management, development planning, and retention.
- Delegate responsibilities to effectively achieve group goals and align individuals to the best of their abilities, while providing oversight and supervision and appropriate growth in technical, leadership and team membership skills.
- Provide leadership and direction to the BI development team to ensure contributions toward company goals.
- Oversee feasibility research; develop project timelines and cost estimates. Manage the delivery of assigned projects and ensure project/department milestones/goals are met and budgets adhered to.
- Act as an internal advisor on emerging technologies and recommend technology solutions as a business partner.
- Ensure the compatibility and interoperability of all enterprise systems.
- Source third-party providers, as required.
- Ensure adherence to company and department policies and standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications:
**Education and Work Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, analytics, or other technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Exposure to leading as a manager and operating in a global IT function with matrix reporting relationships.
- Strong knowledge and 8+ years of functional and technical experience with Microsoft-based development tools and BI design and development. Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining.
- In-depth understanding of database management systems and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude.
- Familiar with technical project management and / or leadership skills including the ability to plan, organize, and control activities.
