We are looking for a Technical IT Professional to join our UK team. The primary role of this position is to work with our Support and R&D teams to prepare a systems infrastructure that optimizes the deployment of secure chem and bioinformatics solutions for the Life Science industry.
**Full Time, Based in Cambridge MA **(mostly work from home)
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the Scilligence AWS cloud platform to ensure optimal performance and reliability, adhering to ISO 27001 certification standards for information security.
- Assess, update, and enforce company data security policies to safeguard sensitive information.
- Collaborate with customer IT teams to configure private cloud servers tailored to their specific needs.
- Partner with our IT service provider to enhance our data security infrastructure and practices.
- Provide on-call support as needed to address any urgent issues
- Supervise and manage IT specialists
- Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in enterprise IT management, with a proven track record of maintaining ISO 27001 certification standards.
- Proficiency in enterprise data security principles and practices, with a focus on maintaining compliance and mitigating risks.
- Solid grasp of Windows Server environments, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Amazon AWS services, with experience in deploying and managing cloud-based solutions.
