Sales/office Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our office. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning, mailing, and filing
- Assist with data entry tasks and maintain accurate records
- Manage office supplies and ensure inventory is well-stocked
- Provide administrative support to staff members as needed
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel
- Greet visitors and provide them with a warm welcome
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Assist with proofreading documents for accuracy and clarity
- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Transcribe meeting minutes and other important documents
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification is a plus
- Proven experience in an office assistant or administrative role preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in typing and data entry with a high level of accuracy
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Customer service-oriented mindset
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 - 55 per week
