Activity Assistant with Assisted Living Background

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in organizing and leading recreational activities for residents
- Provide support during outings and events
- Engage residents in social interactions and cognitive exercises
- Collaborate with the activities director to develop creative programs
- Maintain documentation of resident participation and progress
- Ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants
**Requirements**:
- Experience or knowledge in Dementia care, Social work, Caregiving, or related fields
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Familiarity with Recreational therapy, Aging issues counseling, Event planning, Memory care, and Assisted living concepts is a plus
- Passion for working with seniors and improving their quality of life
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors while gaining valuable experience in the healthcare industry.
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
