- Conduct courses in the Heavy Equipment Technology program.
- Delivery of instruction in a Lecture/Lab format.
- Curriculum enhancement, as needed, to meet NATEF standards.
- Development and presentation of educational experiences, utilizing varied methods and techniques to enable students, with a variety of learning styles, to attain the course outcomes.
- Development and implementation of accepted assessment practices.
- Assessment of student success toward outcome fulfillment.
- Maintenance of office hours as required.
- Off-campus or distance learning teaching may be required.
- Demonstrates an understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion, especially in working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community members.
- Faculty members also have professional responsibilities which may include but are not limited to: keeping regular posted office hours (which are scheduled at times convenient for students), and participation in traditional functions which have academic significance (ex. reporting initial student participation data and submitting final grades on time). Faculty may be required to teach off-campus or in an on-line environment.
