The University of Cincinnati is one of the largest employers in the Cincinnati region, employing over 15,000 full-time and part-time faculty, staff, and student workers. The College of Medicine, Office of Continuing Medical Education is recruiting a full-time Program Manager. This position will manage, design, develop, modify, and present programs and support the University’s mission and commitment to excellence in our students, faculty, staff, and all our activities.
**Essential Functions**:
- Manage, design, develop, modify and present programs. Perform program needs assessment and make recommendations.
- Implement policies and procedures.
- Maintain budget, prepare contracts, approve and monitor expenditures, prepare budget requests and financial reports.
- Act as liaison to internal departments, external entities and community organizations.
- May prepare and edit reports and/or newsletters and develop publication materials.
- May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
- Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.
**Required Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
**Required Experience**:
Three (3) years of relevant experience.
**Physical Requirements/Work Environment**:
- Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.

As a UC employee, and an employee of an Ohio public institution, if hired you will not contribute to the federal Social Security system, other than contributions to Medicare.
