This Accounting Administrator I, Supervisor (AAI) is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the operations of the Accounts Payables and Payroll sections. The AAI ensures procedures and staff responsibilities are compliant with the requirements set forth by federal, state and local regulatory agencies. The AAI ensures enforcement of internal controls in regards to the safeguarding of assets as stipulated by Department of finance (DOF), State Controller’s Office (SCO) and the State Administrative Manual (SAM). In coordination with Department of State Hospitals - Sacramento Accounting Branch, the AAI completes the month end close and year close processes.

Working Conditions
- Patton is a forensic psychiatric hospital and was established in 1890 and opened in 1893. DSH-Patton provides treatment to forensically and civilly committed patients within a secure treatment area. The hospital does not accept voluntary admissions.
