**YOUR SCHEDULE**

Our Bookkeeper - Payroll Clerk normally works **Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm**.

**YOUR DAY**

This bookkeeping role is the master of our financial affairs, and you prioritize accuracy above all else. You're responsible for ensuring employees are paid on time, and you accomplish this by processing payroll, preparing paychecks, and processing wage garnishments. You perform audits, reconcile accounts, and analyze data to ensure our records are correct.

Attentively, you administer employee benefits, prepare transaction records, and answer any questions employees have about payroll. You also manage essential bookkeeping functions such as accounts payable, billing, filing receipts, and tax preparation. You stay on top of current financial legislation, making sure our efforts comply with all relevant regulations

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in a payroll position with knowledge of payroll, taxes, and garnishments
- Experience with account reconciliation and benefits administration processes
- Knowledge about International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), or another accounting framework
- Advanced computer proficiency and experience with software like Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and ADP
- Accurate data entry and analysis skills
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and strong problem-solving abilities
- Advanced math skills
