Key Responsibilities of the Full Charge Bookkeeper:
- Ensure precise and current financial records are maintained through accounting software.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, bill settlements, and collections.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank and credit card statements to verify accuracy.
- Administer payroll processing, which includes calculating wages, taxes, and deductions, along with issuing payments.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses.
- Assist in budget formulation and oversight, tracking expenditures and identifying discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit quarterly and annual payroll tax returns, sales tax returns, and other required regulatory documents.
- Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
Essential Qualifications for the Full Charge Bookkeeper:
- 3-5 years of experience in a full charge bookkeeping role or a similar position.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capable of working independently with minimal oversight and taking initiative to resolve issues and enhance processes.
