Key Responsibilities of the Full Charge Bookkeeper:

  • Ensure precise and current financial records are maintained through accounting software.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, bill settlements, and collections.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank and credit card statements to verify accuracy.
  • Administer payroll processing, which includes calculating wages, taxes, and deductions, along with issuing payments.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses.
  • Assist in budget formulation and oversight, tracking expenditures and identifying discrepancies.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly and annual payroll tax returns, sales tax returns, and other required regulatory documents.
  • Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

Essential Qualifications for the Full Charge Bookkeeper:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a full charge bookkeeping role or a similar position.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal oversight and taking initiative to resolve issues and enhance processes.
