**The Position**:
The Credit and Collections Manager is responsible for overseeing the credit and collections functions within the company. Their primary role is to manage the organization's credit policies, assess the creditworthiness of customers, and ensure that payments are collected in a timely manner while effectively managing a successful team of Credit and Collections Analysts.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create and implement strategies to increase the number of successful collections on outstanding invoices for customers.
- Coordinate the Credit and Collection's team, ensuring that workload is evenly distributed amongst team members.
- Develop credit and collection strategies that align with the overall strategic direction of the company.
- Analyze data to assist in establishing key performance indicators for Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Develop plans to better manage customer credit balances.
- Assist Credit and Collection Analysts with complex customer interactions or situations.
- Approve credit limits for customers based on risk assessments.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers while maintaining enforcement of payment terms.
- Identify potential risks associated with customer accounts and take appropriate measures to mitigate those risks.
- Evaluate the financial health of customers by reviewing credit reports, financial statements, and other relevant information.
- Assist Credit and Collection's team in complex billing error investigations or disputes from customers.
- Approve partial payment and payment plans with customers.
- Assist customers with interpreting and understanding invoices.
- Meet large customers in person as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.

**Are you a fit?**
- Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred
- 4-6 years of prior accounting experience
- Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
