Overview:
As the Chief of Staff you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the Product and Technology organization and serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the Chief Product and Technology Officer. You will be responsible for leading both the strategic initiatives and overseeing the software development lifecycle, and other large, impactful projects to help the Product & Technology organization achieve its goals. You will work to extend the efficiency of the entire organization by creating streamlined processes, communicating consistently, building trust across the organization, prioritizing areas for investment, and assisting other product & technology leaders in achieving focus within their teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Cultivates close relationships with and gains the trust of key collaborators across departments to align business objectives and work effectively together.
- Oversees strategic business initiatives from ideation to implementation, working closely with key collaborators within the product and technology organization and across other departments.
- Leads a team of program managers who provide support and oversight for special projects and initiatives.
- Responsible for the standardization, coordination, implementation, and consistent adherence to an approved end-to-end software development life cycle.
- Plans, coordinates, and keeps the content of key meetings, including leadership staff meetings, and all-team meetings, focused.
- Collaboratively works with product and technology leaders to help determine key performance indicators and how to measure team performance.
- Works with leadership to deliver, monitor and communicate progress towards goals.
- Assists CPTO with executive reporting on key risks, issues, budget, and critical metrics.
- Provides department leaders with recommendations and consultation to improve teamwork across the organization.
- Promotes operational excellence by identifying and realizing opportunities to optimize our processes, methods, and tools.
- Provides insight and analysis on the company’s operations.
- Conducts research for key projects, including, but not limited to, cross-team initiatives, investment opportunities, technology processes, and overall business improvements.
- Collaborates with the CPTO on key organizational changes, leadership alignment, and process improvements to ensure vision and strategy are enabled.
- Assists CPTO and Product and Technology leaders with critical presentations and communications.
- Responds to inquiries on behalf of and serves as a representative for CPTO in meetings, as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in a business or computer science-related field required; Master’s Degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive management experience in a complex, professional services environment, business operations, strategy, consulting, or equivalent.
- Deep technical experience or experience working closely with product and technology teams.
- Ability to learn quickly within a fast-paced team, including highly technical topics.
- Ability to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously, professionally, and empathetically.
- Utterly organized and meticulous with a love for creating order out of chaos.
- Strong influencing skills, with a reputation for getting things done.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including Executive-level presence.
- Superb people and leadership skills and ability to interact with peers, senior Executives, cross-functional collaborators, and external third parties.
- Strong strategic approach, with ability to help set direction and outline key outcomes.
- Intellectual curiosity paired with a high growth-mindset.
- Experience and comfort with common tools such as Asana, ServiceNow, Jira, and AHA
