PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and service Multiple Employer Plan (MEP), Pooled Employer Plan (PEP), and Single Employer Plan (SEP) business from assigned existing accounts as well as new ones.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of each client's business, goals, and employee benefit needs.
- Prepare and present proposals.
- Conduct information gathering meetings with prospects.
- Educate plan sponsors and COIs (centers of influence) of plan sponsor about:

- their fiduciary responsibilities and NPPG's compliance solutions.
- the benefits of NPPG's custom designed retirement plans and fiduciary services.
- Deliver solution-driven presentations to plan sponsors on administrative fiduciary risks.
- Collaborate as needed with other team members to ensure client expectations are being met.
- Develop and cultivate a strong network with recordkeeper wholesalers, business owners, attorneys, accountants, and other centers of influence (COI) associated with NPPG.
- Maintain carrier/recordkeeper relationships, stay informed on new products, and advise clients accordingly.
- Resolve services issues escalated to you by clients or COIs.
- Travel, as needed, to effectively service NPPG clients and promote NPPG services.
- Schedule and attend industry conferences to insure NPPG's presence (These will be determined by management with your input.)
- Identify, attend, and present at professional events, associations, and business networking groups to develop leads, promote NPPG services, and build cross-service opportunities.

**ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage a small book of health insurance clients which includes:

- receiving, documenting, and responding to employer and member inquiries regarding plan benefits.
- participating in meetings virtually or at client locations, as needed, to support sales, retention, benefit renewal, and/or enrollment.
- coordinating market process for new and renewal group business, for in-house or direct carrier quoting.
- presenting annual group health insurance renewal options.
- educating clients concerning the regulatory environment and assisting them with federal and state law compliance.
- maintaining health and life license, staying current with all regulations, and continually enhancing insurance knowledge.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- NJ Life & Health Insurance license
- Minimum 2 years of experience working for a third party administrator (TPA), servicing Multiple Employer Plan (MEP), Pooled Employer Plan (PEP), and/or Single Employer Plan (SEP) clients.
- Experience educating plan sponsors about administrative fiduciary risks.
- Intermediate (or better) Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with clients, record keepers, and centers of influence.
- Willingness to travel on occasion, to visit clients in person and to attend industry events.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Experience managing group health insurance clients
- Experience collaborating with various health insurance carriers
- Willingness to work on-site in the Shrewsbury, NJ office at least one day per week.
- Bachelor's degree
