GLP German Light Products, based in Van Nuys, California are looking for someone to join the company in the role of Marketing Manager. This position will be based out of our Van Nuys, California office

GLP are one of the worlds’ leading manufacturers of automated entertainment lighting, supplying products that ultimately end up on film and television sets, live concerts, theatre stages, and much more across the country.

**Organizational Placement**:
The Marketing Manager reports to the Sales and Marketing Director.

The Marketing Manager also has direct communication with the Sales Department, Financial Department, Technical Department, and Logistics Department on a daily basis for practical working methods.

**Areas of Responsibility**:
Marketing Manager for all GLP US Inc. brands and products, including GLP, Fusion, and Scenex Lighting.

**Tasks**:

- Oversee all marketing campaigns for the brand in the North and South American markets
- Brainstorm ideas for new campaigns
- Coordinate with the sales team and other departments to produce effective strategies
- Work with partner marketing teams, supporting their marketing efforts and come up with new ideas to improve brand marketing and exposure
- Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets
- Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from idealization to execution
- Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copy writing, performance analysis
- Distribution of press releases to industry media, and following up to ensure the widest possible relevant coverage for the company
- Assist in the sourcing of news stories for company and project PR purposes, and the creation of local (The America’s) based PR content
- Create copy for advertising needs
- Assist in the design and layout process of company advertising
- Coordinating with industry media where we advertise in regard to the placement of relevant advertising
- Building and maintaining company contact database
- Assisting in the preparation and execution of company events, including exhibitions, open days and similar
- Responsibility for GLP US’s website, its design and content, ensuring that it is current and relevant
- Attend relevant company events and tradeshows
- Management of customer giveaways production and stock
- Coordinate with international colleagues to ensure that our marketing activities are as effective as possible

**Qualifications & Demands**:

- Knowledge of marketing-related business practices, including advertising, market research, technology and budgeting
- Demonstrated history of planning successful product launches and events
- Effective communication skills and adaptable communication style for interacting with team members, upper management, and clients
- Time management and organization skills in order to plan and execute both large and small marketing projects and initiatives
- Budget-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
- Willingness to travel
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Ad-words campaigns

**Compensation**:

- Compensation is $50k - 60k annually
