**Responsibilities for Analyst**

1. Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

2. Work collaboratively with Administrative staff

3. Manipulate data using data analysis tools to discover insights

4. Generate and deliver reports from data analysis

5. Offer suggestions and direction from analysis to help guide organization decision-makers

6. Collaborate with different teams and departments to provide expertise and insight

7. Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

8. Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems

9. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

10. Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems

11. Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

12. Maintain client and staff confidentiality in compliance with internal administrative policies and procedures

13. Ensure data collection and reporting is compliant with all partner/external data security agreements

14. Work with area leaders and programs to ensure data collection processes and reporting methods are standardized, streamlined, and consistent with both agency priorities and funding requirements

15. Provide oversight and review to data policies and procedures to ensure agency maintains high standards around data integrity and quality including: accuracy, completeness, reliability, relevance, timeliness

16. Offer suggestions and direction from analysis to help guide organization decision-makers, including the translation of data to support communication around program and agency-wide outcomes, impacts, and goals

**Qualifications for Analyst**

1. 1-5 years of experience in working as a data analyst

2. Working knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools, such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau

3. Functional experience with database and spreadsheet software, such as MySQL and Excel

4. Experience performing various forms of online research

5. Currently knowledge of or ability to quickly learn data mining tools and techniques

6. Significant attention to detail and an ability to quickly spot and fix problems

7. Experience working in a team setting and desire to take leadership roles within a team

8. Detail-oriented and a strict attention and appreciation for deadlines

9. Ability and willingness to travel when needed

**Credentials/Abilities**:
1. Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, information technology, or related field preferred

2. 1+ years of experience in a data analyst or relevant role

3. Strong analytical capabilities

4. Expert with Microsoft Excel and various business intelligence and analytical tools

5. Understanding of data gathering, inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling/diagramming techniques

6. Keen attention to detail

7. Excellent communication skills

**ADA Essential Functions**:
1. Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk, hear, and smell

2. Regularly lift and move up to 25 lbs.

3. Ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less.

4. Ability to identify and/or distinguish colors.

5. Ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while remain fixed on a given point.
