SUMMARY


The Marketing Analyst will research, compile, and analyze information on products and market conditions to identify potential new markets, sales opportunities, and the most effective methods of marketing specified products.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Researches and compiles data related to current product market, customer demographics and interest, and factors influencing product demand; analyzes results to identify ways of maximizing sales and market penetration of current products.
  • Compiles data related to competitors' products such as pricing, sales, and marketing or distribution methodology.
  • Focus on market research with the ability to identify "segments" that are good opportunities for A. Rifkin to pursue.
  • Within the segments, the ability to generate "lead lists" for Regional Sales Managers and direct them to the desired prospects.
  • Marketing Analyst would define the tradeshows/conferences that are worthwhile of Regional Sales Manager efforts (in person).
  • Marketing Analyst would manage the external agency assigned to web site management, SEO, digital marketing efforts and other marketing duties.
  • Marketing Analyst would identify potential new distributors within the desired segments and provide contact information to Sales for follow up.
  • Maintain knowledge of current marketing trends, development opportunities, and best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field required.
  • Minimum 2 years related work experience required.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Superior research and analytical skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Must have advanced reasoning abilities including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
