**THE WORK**
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Final Inspector who is looking for a challenging work environment. Selected individual will be responsible for the in-process and final inspection of customer aircraft components. The inspector will complete final document review and attach the return to service certificates.

Specific responsibilities include:

- The final inspector will be an integral part of a team of inspectors who inspect the aircraft components received from customers as they progress through the repair station to be overhauled or repaired and returned in an airworthy condition.
- Our primary responsibility is to support the repair shop technicians through the repair process including any scrap procedures, functional tests, calibration, in-process, and final inspections.
- We are here to ensure all proper documents are used and completed as required. The goal is 100% on-time to our customer with 0 defects in both the paperwork and the components.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Educational Requirements: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous aviation, quality, inspection and/or commercial/military aircraft maintenance experience.

**Desired Skills**:

- FAA A&P license is preferred, aviation background/training is a plus.
- Any type of technical education, certification (e.g. non-destructive testing, welding, etc.) or licensing (e.g. FAA A&P license) a plus.
- Attention to detail, excellent computer data entry skills and the ability to work in a fast paced team environment.
- Understanding of ISO/AS9110.

**Ability to Work Remotely**:Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

**Work Schedules**:Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

**Schedule for this Position**:4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
