Design Office Assistant

Popular 21 is seeking a Design Office Assistant to work closely with our fashion designers. You will help ensure our garments are produced according to the correct specifications and maintain an accurate inventory of all samples.
Headquartered in Los Angeles, Popular 21 provides fashion merchandise to the largest national retailers at the most competitive prices in the marketplace. With fully-owned and operated manufacturing facilities, we directly control our entire supply chain, from têxtiles to finished goods. We currently service organizations such as Ross Stores, Burlington, and Fashion Nova.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist designers with new developments by measuring garment samples
- Check for accurate specs on pre-production samples
- Take photos and label samples
- Organize patterns in the office
- Maintain accurate inventory of all samples
- Hang and steam samples after fittings
- Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure samples will arrive on time
- Maintain a tidy office
**Qualifications**
- Proficiency in Excel is required
- Extreme attention to detail
- Experience in fashion or retail is a plus
- Experience with Photoshop or Illustrator is a plus
- Fluency in Korean and/or Spanish is a plus
This role is on-site in our Vernon office Monday through Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm.
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
