We are seeking a Part-Time Facilities Assistant to join our team. As a Facilities Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the functionality of our facilities. This position requires a combination of technical skills, customer service, and leadership abilities. If you have a strong mechanical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
**Duties**:
- Conduct inspections to identify any potential issues or hazards
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Assist with the installation of new equipment or fixtures
- Clean all common areas and restrooms
- Attend to the grounds, maintaining a clean, well-kept appearance to entryways and outdoor areas
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Provide excellent customer service to internal staff and external vendors
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or related field preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
**Job Type**: Part-time
Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
