**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with company policies and procedures
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization's operations
- Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance-related matters
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Prepare and submit I9 regulatory reports as required by governing bodies
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in compliance

Qualifications:

- **Must Be Bilingual**
- Proven experience in compliance management, preferably within the produce industry
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations
- Experience conducting internal audits and implementing fraud prevention/detection measures
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Professional certification (e.g., Certified Compliance Officer) is a plus
