**Purpose**

Responsible for set-up and assembly of all types of equipment offered for sale by the dealership. Performs pre-delivery inspections and prepares equipment for delivery to the customer. Assists in maintaining the image of store facilities, lot and grounds maintenance. Support fellow employees with loading and unloading of equipment while maintaining organization and safety.

**Responsibilities**
- Operates vehicles, tools, and equipment used in machinery pre-delivery and set-up processes
- Using a computer for basic functions
- Works cooperatively in a team environment
- Communicates effectively verbally and in writing
- Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders
- May participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
- Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities
- Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
- Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
- Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
- Stage deliveries so they are completed and ready to go.
- Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
- Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
- Facility Maintenance (Lawn Mowing, Clean Parking Lot, Shovel)
- Back up to Driver when required.
- Keep lot organized and notify manager of supplies and tooling needed.
- Other duties as needed per Manager
- Have service repairs in line ready for service work to be completed.
- Unload and load equipment ready for delivery.
- Operate forklift when needed.
- Keep up general appearance of the store by mowing lawn, trimming and removing snow when needed.
- Pressure wash equipment and ensure it looks clean and ready for the customer.

**Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge**
- Experience operating vehicles, tools, and equipment used in machinery pre-delivery and set-up processes
- Experience with basic computer functions
- Must be able to operate a forklift
- Experience working cooperatively in a team environment
- Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing
- Must have an adequate toolset to perform job responsibilities
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.

Pay: $21.50 - $26.00 per hour
