**Field Supervisor Position Summary**

The purpose of the position is to oversee, plan, schedule and support both in-house and subcontractor crews for the proper, high-quality installation of house wrap, siding, decking, windows and other services in a fast-paced residential and commercial construction environment. The Field Supervisor is responsible for the coordination, delegation, supervision and quality control of on-site work including responsibility for performance and productivity of all crew members and subcontractors and the accuracy of all related documentation.

**Field Supervisor Job Responsibilities**
- Maintaining positive relationships with customer’s supervisors, installers, suppliers and other subcontractors.
- Scheduling material delivery, quality control, punch-out and managing key relationships.
- Walking job sites regularly to ensure project is on schedule and that the workmanship meets plans, specifications and standards of quality.
- Must fully understand safety policies and uphold quality and industry standard requirements.
- Must supervise installers, and always promote job site safety, encouraging safe work practices and rectifying job site hazards immediately.
- Responsible for the daily scheduling of in-house and subcontractor crews.
- Works with existing customers to review warranty claims and scheduling of the work to be performed per the customer’s schedule.
- Responsible for inventory of tools and equipment on installation crews’ trucks.
- Analyzes and monitors internal processes for scopes for which you are responsible.
- Partners with management to enforce policies as necessary.
- Assigns and monitors responsibilities and tasks, ensuring top performance among direct reports, and provides adequate coaching and guidance.
- Manages relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Ensures security, integrity and confidentiality of data.
- Provides reporting as requested.
- Daily checks of direct reports and subcontractors in the field environment.
- Ensuring all QA/QC standards are being met by direct reports and subcontractors.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

**Field Supervisor Education and Experience**
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in managing multiple projects.
- Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Prefer one (1) year plus of experience as a carpenter in residential construction.
- Prefer experience with house wrap, siding, windows, doors, and decking.
- Prefer experience estimating work.
- Prefer high school diploma or equivalent.
- Prefer MS Office, estimating, project management software experience.
- Highly organized, detail oriented, self-motivated and able to meet specific deadlines.
- Able to work in a high volume, fast paced environment.
- Good analytical skills, able to make sound decisions utilizing the data at hand.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude that fosters effective relationships.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Knowledge of business and management principles.

**Field Supervisor Physical Demands**
- May require heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.
- May require climbing ladder up to 30 feet.
- May require exposure to weather and temperature extremes.
- May require prolonged standing.
- May require extensive walking over rough terrain and construction zones.
- May require protective clothing and equipment e.g., hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, steel-toe boots.
- May require travel.
