**Requirements**:

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Hours**: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm

**Pay**: $18 per hour starting with Commission Bonuses every pay period
**Vacation/PTO**: 15 days per year of paid time off (PTO days increase the longer you work here)

**Skills required for this Job**:
**Computing Skills**: Must be comfortable working with iPhone and Android phones, apps, and settings. Be capable of learning our web-based office management software and hearing aid programming software. Should also know Word and Excel basics. The ability to troubleshoot iPhone, Android, bluetooth, and basic computer issues is critical.

**Technical Skills**:Must be able to see, handle, and manipulate very small parts and electronics with a steady hand to work on hearing aids. You will use basic tools to clean and repair devices. Mechanical/electrical skills are a plus. Must have the ability to think creatively to troubleshoot potential issues with electronics, phones, hearing aids, etc.

**Communication Skills**: Must speak clearly to communicate with our hearing impaired patients and have a warm and caring personality. Must be able to show empathy to patients struggling with hearing issues and help them feel reassurance that we can help.

**Culture**: We are a high-touch medical-type service provider. Our team exudes warmth and friendliness to our patients. We have positive, can-do attitudes and help wherever needed in the office. We are a small team, which means we share duties, and helping each other to make the office run smoothly. Employees are expected to help other employees in their duties or any other office needs when not working with patients.

**Job duties**:
Job duties include:

- Providing exceptional customer service to our patients
- Responding empathetically and helpfully as patients describe their needs
- Hearing aid cleaning, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Electroacoustic evaluation and analysis of hearing aid function
- Preparing new hearing aids for fittings and testing function
- Troubleshooting Bluetooth connections of hearing aids to smartphones
- Downloading smart phone apps and instructing patients in their use
- Reprogramming hearing aids when they return from repair
- Writing detailed chart notes regarding patient visits
- Calling patients to schedule appointments
- Answering patient questions and troubleshooting via phone calls
- Sterilization of tools and keeping the office clean and organized
- Tracking and reordering lab supplies, stocking, and tracking supply stock
- Reviewing patient records/chart notes and recommending next steps
- Helping other staff members with their roles and anything else the office needs as it comes up. We all help each other whenever needed or asked.
- Building invoices, taking patient payments and checkouts.
- Occasional in-home service to patients for deliveries or setting up streaming devices
- Adjusting hearing aids using proprietary software from multiple manufacturers
- Conducting hearing tests
- Performing exchanges of Lyric hearing aids.
- Lifting and handling shipping boxes no more than 50lbs.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
