**Summary of Job**:The Social Services Manager position is responsible for all social services under the direction of the Site Leader. The Social Services Manager position also works closely with the medical leadership to coordinate and improve clinical care.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Supervises, evaluates and provides leadership and coaching to social services personnel, including hiring, disciplinary actions, and termination.
- Arranges coverage for social services absences.
- Works as social services personnel in a variety of capacities during staff shortages and in emergent situations.
- Assures that the delivery of care complies with licensing regulations and accreditation standards.
- Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to continuously improve productivity, efficiency, recovery outcomes as it pertains to social services.
- Completes clinical documentation as required.
- Understands and adheres to RI International compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
- Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all RI International policies and procedures as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
- Provides clinical supervision (where relevant) and clinical oversight for assigned staff members.
- Ensures compliance with all contractual, accreditation and funding requirements for service delivery, documentation, etc.
- Maintains positive, professional relationships with all referral sources and external vendors.
- Completes comprehensive psychosocial assessments and treatment plans when needed.
- Provide BHP sign-off on clinical documents completed by the Care Coordinator team as needed.
- Works collaboratively with external entities, i.e., hospital staff, Probation, Police Departments and clinical teams.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Independent Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of full-time behavioral health experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience required.

**Driving Requirements**:

- If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in RI International driving policy.
- If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.

**A Direct Service Competency Checklist must be completed as part of the new hire onboarding process.**

**Physical Demands**:
May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.

**Work Environment**

May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility. May have contact with individuals who are agitated and/or confused. Work may include travel throughout the geographic region.
