Donor Relations and Annual Giving Coordinator

Join us as a Donor Relations and Annual Giving Coordinator Relations & Annual Giving Coordinator to play a pivotal role in supporting strategic plans, executing, and tracking our annual giving programs in collaboration with the department leadership. Supports individual fundraising efforts including current donors; cultivation of new donor prospects; and increasing current funding base through all individual giving opportunities.

**Some of the main responsibilities**:
Donor Relations
- Serve as the manager of the Development database; currently Donor Perfect.
- Manage and maintain Development data policies and procedures and ensure data integrity.
- Update donor data records, including contact reports, and share with internal stakeholders as needed.
- Reconcile pledge and gift data with the Finance Team.
- Add new constituent records to the database, populating all appropriate data fields.
- Review and make necessary corrections to data records.
- Maintain database records for appeals, producing and managing lists.
- Maintain progress records and projections on all revenue generation.
- Track and analyze donor performance, renewal, acquisition, and attrition.
- Produce financial information from the donor database to support grant reporting, as needed.
- Ensure all cash donations, and checks are forwarded to Finance for daily bank deposit.
- Complete daily gift processing: enter in Donor Perfect, create daily gift batches, and generate gift reports.
- Generate all gift/pledge acknowledgments and receipts, adhering to the 48-hour turnaround receipt/acknowledgment policy; ensure accuracy of gift donations.
- Track outstanding pledges and produce pledge reminders. Provide pledge payment forecast reports.
- Generate and file correspondence related to gift processing, including gift receipts, tribute notification letters, return check and incomplete check letters, and incorrect credit card information letters.
- Communicate with donors regarding payment information as needed, as well as resolving rejected credit cards.
- Manage "in honor of" and "in memory of" special gift communications.
- Update gift acknowledgement letter templates twice a year and customize, as needed.
- Performs prospect research to support Directors of Philanthropy portfolio qualification.
- Research returned mail, and update database addresses and contact permissions as needed.

Annual Giving
- Assist with planning, developing, and executing Sun Health Foundation's annual giving projects, programs, and activities to ensure the department meets its goals.
- Support plans to conceptually develop appeals; write and coordinate design of solicitation materials.
- Coordinate with team members and vendors to ensure that appeal projects are kept on schedule.
- Analyze, produce, and distribute appeal and donor performance reports.
- Proofread and edit materials for grammatical and factual accuracy.
- Organize, coordinate, and maintain the integrity of digital filing systems.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree required
- A minimum of five years of relevant work experience in the areas of general fundraising, and database management.
- Highly organized planner and efficient project coordinator with relentless attention to detail.
- High level of computer literacy and experience working with donor databases, preferably Donor Perfect.
- Ability to multitask without compromising quality.
- Personable, flexible, resourceful, and warm with a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done; respectful of others; sense of humor.
- Ability to build productive relationships with internal and external constituents.
