The right individual must possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Excellent customer service skills
- Have a great attitude. This means being friendly, attentive, and patient with customers as well as being respectful of other team members. An even temperament, even when under stress is essential.
- Willingness to learn about products being served
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple customers at once.
- Highly organized, self-starter, working on your own.
- Be focused and reliable, show up to work on time (every time) ready to work.
- Possess a valid Driver’s License and have a clean driving record.

**Responsibilities**:

- Host and educate new and existing guests on our story and the shellfish and retail products we carry.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for the brand, products, and our company’s mission.
- Accurately handle routine purchasing transactions.
- Perform day-to-day operations and opening/closing duties.
- Maintain highest standards of quality control, hygiene, health and safety
- Ensure neat and well-organized service areas
- Safely drive to and from the market

Preferred experience:

- Retail or Farmers Market experience
- Large vehicle driving - able to drive a van or box truck

Physical demands:

- Capable of carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and to lift and move items frequently
- Ability to kneel, climb, and stoop to organize inventory and set up stall.

This is position is every Saturday 7am to 4pm; year-round, rain or shine. Leaving from our facility west of Petaluma, driving to Vallejo and returning to Petaluma.
