**Director, Employee Relations and Compliance**

**Position Overview**:
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement employee relations strategies, policies, and procedures to foster a positive work environment and enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Provide expert guidance and support to HR business partners, managers, and employees on a wide range of employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Investigate and respond to employee complaints, concerns, and allegations of misconduct or policy violations, ensuring thorough and impartial investigations and appropriate resolution and follow-up.
- Develop and deliver learning programs and resources to educate managers and employees on relevant employment laws, company policies, and best practices for maintaining a respectful and compliant workplace.
- Oversee the administration of employee relations programs/initiatives, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and evaluate their effectiveness and impact.
- Monitor trends and developments in employment law and regulatory requirements, and recommend updates and revisions to policies, procedures, and practices to ensure alignment with current best practices and legal standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, legal, and business leaders, to develop and implement initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion and support the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Prepare regular reports and updates for senior leadership on employee relations activities, trends, and metrics, and make recommendations for improvements and enhancements to HR programs and practices.
- Active and participatory member of the Human Resources Leadership Team.
- Other business-related projects as assigned.

**Requirements and Qualifications**
- Four-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations, compliance, and employment law.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of HR professionals and drive results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in all employee relations and compliance matters.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/ERP systems.
