Digital Content Specialist

We aim to redefine the journalistic landscape by launching the first-of-its-kind news technology platform to provide timely, relevant news coverage tailored to meet the evolving interests of our readers.
**Responsibilities**:
- Review and edit articles to ensure accuracy, clarity, and coherence. Maintain high standards of grammar and formal writing.
- Create attention-grabbing and SEO-friendly headlines that drive engagement and clicks.
- Choose relevant and high-quality images to accompany articles and enhance visual appeal
- Monitor news wires, social media, and other sources to identify high-impact stories and trends that are relevant to our audience.
- Post content on various social media platforms, monitor engagement, and manage social media schedules. Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
- Pitch story ideas and work with other members of the digital team to develop new angles and angles to existing stories.
- Work closely with cross-national teams to align content strategies and to ensure that all content is visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for different platforms.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree. preferably in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media, editorial, content creation, journalism or digital media.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to produce accurate, engaging, and informative content.
- Working knowledge of AI technologies and prompt writing is preferred
- Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for content promotion.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Decision-making skills - A self-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously where priorities continually change.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
