We are hiring a Social Content Manager to join our global team at Xsolla. In this role, you will create, manage and execute social media content on Facebook, Twitter, Threads, Instagram, TikTok and other social channels aimed at connecting and engaging with our player and consumer community.


You will engage with members of our community to help promote Xsolla brands, partners, and products. If you’re passionate about gaming, tech, and marketing communications, and you have a knack for game tech, social media, and forums then this is the opportunity for you. When working on the Marketing team and collaborating with our product teammates, you listen well, collaborate seamlessly, and will not be afraid to share innovative new ideas. As an individual, you are accountable, trustworthy, and proactively motivated. This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles, CA and you’ll report to the Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing, also based in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging content across various formats.
  • Oversee day-to-day delivery of social content campaigns and ensure brand consistency.
  • Facilitate scaling brand and product awareness through various social media channels.
  • Work with the Marketing and Product teams to plan and execute the social media editorial content calendar on a monthly basis.
  • Produce multimedia content, including videos and live streams, to enhance user engagement.
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience across all appropriate channels.
  • Monitor gaming trends and industry news to ensure content is relevant, fresh, and engaging.
  • Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms such as but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
  • Create and execute upon the monthly editorial calendar which includes monthly KPIs and initiatives.
  • Maintain social media best practices and provide all marketing team members and stakeholders with updates on new channel features.
  • QA social media posts prior to setting up in social media management platform.
  • QA social media posts once live to verify external links, post fits in UI and community sentiment/feedback.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in content creation or digital marketing, preferably within the gaming sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations or related field.
  • Experience with social media management and analytics tools such as Sprout Social and Hootsuite.
  • Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Canva experience preferred.
  • The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of gaming culture, trends, and the digital landscape.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • General knowledge of Search Engine Optimization, tagging and internet ranking for web content.
  • Strong passion for and knowledge of the gaming industry and player communities.
  • Video game industry experience heavily preferred.


Additional Requirements: Ability to self-motivate and work individually, while also working within a highly collaborative team. Proven track record of successfully managing and growing multiple platform presences while maintaining a positive, professional image of the organization. Willingness and ability to participate in special projects. Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost level of professionalism. Performs well on cross-functional project teams and with external vendors. Flexible work hours as we are a global company. Understands the full spectrum of skill required to manage customer-centric relationships with partners. Comfortable in front of a camera. A plus if: Prior experience at an organization with an entrepreneurial mindset.
