**Essential Duties**

Research support activities including data entry and analysis, report writing, data collection on site (off-site from ASU) including travel, support other researchers and program coordinators. All work for this position is related to youth homelessness and human trafficking research, training, and services in the community. Research includes working with the ASU STIR team to explore and analyze literature, collect and analyze data, write reports, work directly with community agencies on program evaluation and data collection. This position will also assist with developing trainings and conferences about youth homelessness and human trafficking including conducting public presentations and working with a planning team.

Will oversee all aspects of the program, including curriculum development, mentor and mentee recruitment, training, and ongoing support. Will supervise, train and evaluate assigned staff including student workers. Performs tasks related to specific function/program assigned, such as tracking event attendance, development of brochures or other unique projects.

Interacts and maintains liaison with students, faculty, staff and outside/community agencies in facilitating youth homelessness and human trafficking research and event program objectives. Develops and facilitates youth homelessness and human trafficking specific workshops, meetings or conferences with high impact on program and/or participants; coordinates logistics, scheduling and participant communications. Provides leadership training and organizational management opportunities through workshops and seminars to targeted groups. Schedules facility and services for use by campus and outside organizations.

Maintains direct contact with personnel of various outside organizations and university departments associated with scheduled function/program. Represents the college/department and serves on various department and university committees. Attends seminars, workshops and conferences. Provides assistance and information to faculty, staff and outside organizations regarding youth homelessness and human trafficking activities conducted by ASU STIR Office. Serves as a representative of ASU STIR to ensure all aspects of function/program are implemented and controlled according to plans.

**Minimum Qualifications**

Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment AND three (3) years of related experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
