Minimum of two years of progressive experience, which provides a thorough knowledge of the duties. Experience in, special events planning, food and beverage management, or other closely related profession such as in Community Recreation or Hospitality. Must have the knowledge of theories, practices, techniques of business practices and concepts as related to special events/entertainment programs. Knowledge of current trends in music, theater, and the overall entertainment industry, sufficient to ensure audience enjoyment of selected programs. Must have experience with the MS Office: Windows, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint. Other desktop publishing software and skill in the use of the Internet is desired.**Education**:
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

**FOREIGN EDUCATION**:Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
