In this position, you will work alongside project managers and clients to produce timely billing and cost-control reports for multiple projects throughout the company.**Responsibilities**:
- Primarily working with Project Managers and clients for a professional services firm specializing in consulting engineering with the clients being both public and private
- Produce accurate and timely billing and cost control reports for projects while interacting with clients and colleagues throughout our Company
- Invoicing and gather full knowledge and understanding the requirements of our contracts.
- Gathering supporting documentation, checking the information for accuracy, following a standard or client specific invoicing format and following up with Project Managers and clients
- Working alongside project managers to produce other project accounting data on an as needed basis
- Monitor the West Unit’s accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts.
- Contact customers with overdue accounts and attempt to collect the overdue amount.
- Maintain records of contacts and attempted contacts with delinquent account customers as well as records of any payments collected from the customer.
- Work with billing team to resolve customer issues concerning billing.
- Report on the status of unpaid accounts and any repayment progress.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but, not required
- Prior experience working in billing or project accounting experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
- Must be well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have outstanding time management skills
- Can meet deadlines as various invoices have different due dates each month
- Be a team player and work well with others
- Occasional travel may be required
- Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000
