Our client, a leading company in the entertainment industry, is seeking a meticulous and skilled **Video Quality Assurance Specialist** with a strong background in QA and Digital Asset Management (DAM) to join their team

This role is crucial in ensuring our client's video content meets the highest quality standards and is accurately managed for distribution. This is an amazing opportunity to work with a company dedicated to delivering the best viewing experience to audiences through meticulous quality control and innovative content management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform Quality Control (QC) checks for high-profile pre-release feature films and library episodic assets.
- Ensure content meets the highest quality standards and adheres to the correct specifications.
- Verify that all language, subtitle, and caption files are perfectly synchronized with video assets.
- Review and validate all metadata associated with video assets.
- Transcode assets using automated systems like Vantage or Clipster.
- Utilize internal workflow tools to track and deliver content efficiently.
- Manage and comprehensively track a queue of work to ensure timely delivery.
- Work with Closed Captions in Captionmaker or Iris to ensure accuracy.
- Handle various digital media file types, including Quicktime, MXF, MPEG, MP4, and more.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience level: Entry Level
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a broadcast operations or post-production environment.
- At least 1 year of experience in Quality Control.
- Proficiency in working with MP3 video files and a variety of digital media formats.
- Experience in caption/subtitle QC and video metadata management.
- Familiarity with automated transcoding systems like Vantage or Clipster.
- Experience with workflow management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
