Skookum Contract Services is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting tests and inspections of automotive services and repairs to ensure they meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of automotive services and repairs to evaluate quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in inspections.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to identify and address any issues or discrepancies.
  • Monitor and review output from systems to validate road worthiness and operation of commercial motor vehicles.
  • Perform follow-up inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
Requirements:
  • 8 years minimum of military and civilian commercial vehicle maintenance experience.
  • ASE certification(s) or relevant experience required.
  • Knowledge of OSHA Regulations and EPA guidelines required.
  • Knowledge of GCSS-Army preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
  • Ability to push/pull 300+ pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking.
