**Temporary Data Entry Specialist Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
1. Prepares, compiles, and sorts documents for data entry

2. Entering information from one EMR System to another

3. Verifies and logs receipt of data

4. Performs high-volume data entry using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other computer software.

5. Reviews data for errors, missing pages, or missing information and resolves any discrepancies.

6. Maintains a filing system and protects confidential customer information

7. Compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations

8. Other duties as assigned

**Required Education and Experience**

1. High School Graduate or equivalent

2. Experience with the administrative functions and clerical tasks of a medical office

3. Attention to detail and ability to utilize skills interchangeably to all areas of medical practice

5. Experience with Electronic Medical Records

6. Ability to work independently as well as a strong contributor to the team

7. Any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
