- The Executive Assistant provides administrative, programmatic, and technical support to the Provost and the operations of the Provost’s Office. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: provide administrative support and calendar management to the Provost and the Director of Academic Operations, Finance, and Communications; process incoming correspondence, digital and print; draft, edit, proofread, and prepare correspondence and other materials for the Provost, including those associated with tenure, pre-tenure, promotion, and leaves; support the Faculty Personnel Committee in preparing and maintaining materials associated with committee processes; support the Faculty Finance and Faculty Council as needed; support Faculty meetings, including yearly meeting schedule and space setup, posting agenda, tracking and posting of minutes; serve as Record Retention Coordinator for all office files and records, including annual review of files, assembling and tracking materials sent to archives; and coordinates Provost’s travel and itineraries.
