The Program Manager will support the NQF’s Chief Scientific Officer (CSO), who has scientific oversight of NQF’s quality programs and also leads quality measurement at The Joint Commission (TJC) enterprise wide. They will report to NQF’s CSO on a daily basis to provide direct support. The Program Manager will work closely with the NQF CSO’s Executive Assistant to ensure that the the NQF CSO is prepared for scheduled meetings and events each day and to coordinate cross cutting or special projects through a combination of project management, writing and editing, research, and high level administrative and relationship support functions.

**This is a hybrid position and will require a minimum of two days in the office.**

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

The following statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not an exhaustive list of all job duties performed.
- Work closely with members of NQF’s and TJC’s quality measurement departments to assemble or prepare briefing materials and other supporting documents for the NQF CSO
- Monitor key initiatives and communicate with assigned staff to track progress
- Draft and edit memos, summary documents, letters, talking points and other materials; support review of team deliverables
- Coordinate or conduct research on priority topics and prepare summary memos
- Provide back-up scheduling and other administrative support as needed in the absence of the Executive Assistant
- Accompany the NQF CSO to meetings and events, as assigned, and coordinated follow up where requested
- Attend meetings in lieu of the NQF CSO as needed.
- Manage and/or coordinate special projects

**POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education/Experience**:
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience or Master’s degree in a relevant field e.g., MPH, MSHA, MHA, MS) and 2+ years of experience in quality/safety; familiarity with accreditation, certification, quality measurement, and value-based payment programs. Experience with quality measurement preferred.
