**Role**: The Billing/Compliance Specialist is a qualified person appointed by the President/CEO to help administer, direct and coordinate all activities involving the finances and compliance of the company.
**Scope of Position**: Reports to the President/CEO
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required**:
The appointed Billing/Compliance Specialist for the agency must meet the following qualifications:
- Experience with QuickBooks Online
- Experience with billing: Medicaid, VA, VCC, private, including reconciliation
- Possess excellent problem solving techniques and abilities
- Knowledgeable of the Federal wage and hour and tax laws
- Communicate in clear, concise language
- Must pass all background screening with satisfactory results
**Major Responsibilities**:
The Billing/Compliance Specialist is responsible for:
- Financial Reporting
- Invoicing & Reconciliation
- Accounts Receivable
- Monthly Compliance Reporting
- On Call Phone in rotation
- Any other duty requested to maintain the operations of the business
**Physical Qualifications**:
- Able to work an average of 40 hours per week
- Able to bend, climb, stoop, and stand an average of 5 hours per day
- Able to lift 20-30 pounds
- Able to use tools necessary for job
- Able to communicate effectively
