**Eurovision Americas Inc. (EAI) Washington DC** is looking for a **Network Planner** to be part of the Eurovision Services (ES) Global Operations & Engineering team.

**WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES WAITING FOR YOU?**

The ES Global Operations & Engineering department is the central point of contact for all customers receiving operational services from Eurovision Services, coordinating the management of requirements and delivery for all events, transmission and media services between broadcasters, sport federations and event organisers.

As a Network Planner you will plays a key role in the management of ES clients, being the principal point of contact for clients booking services from ES.

In this role you will:

- Be the first point of contact for clients and partners
- Ensure continuity of services and coordination of all standard broadcast solutions within sports, news and other types of events
- Ensure the service delivery is focused on an outstanding customer experience,
- Work in close collaboration across internal teams, including technical staff, global master control facilities, and a team of booking managers
- Oversee the management of resources on the Eurovision Global Network and allocate resources accordingly
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of client requirements, methodologies, and workflows

**YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or similar degree (Master or Bachelor).
- Some years of experience in customer services
- Relevant experience in the field of broadcasting or telecom operations
- Knowledge and understanding of broadcasting and telecom technology (basic concepts)
- Excellent customer service approach and attitude (e.g. empathetic, adaptable, patient)
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent team player and positive attitude
- Experience working in multicultural environments

**ADDED VALUE**
- Knowledge of transmission technologies (satellite and fiber) basic concepts
- Some years of experience working on broadcast sport and news events
- Work experience in the field of engineering, IT or other technical aspects of broadcasting
- Ideally have experience previously working in an operational role
- Practical project management experience
