The Opportunity:

Critical decisions are made every single day in our government. What if you could employ your intelligence expertise and knowledge to assist in the integration of Defense and National Intelligence support capabilities? As an Intelligence Planner for the Joint Staff, you will use your specialized regional and functional experience and your attention to detail to assist in campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time sensitive planning in accordance with the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters.

As an Intelligence Planner on our team, you will provide support for developing, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of the Centers’ support to CCMD planning activities. You will provide input throughout all planning functions from translating strategic guidance, through concept and plan development, to plan assessments and associated functions. As the authority on your target, your client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise, develop new skills in intelligence planning, and share your methodologies with other planners. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. Join us as we provide the right information at the right time to support the critical needs of our warfighters.

  • Experience in the intelligence community

  • Ability to brief senior defense and government officials

  • Possession of strong oral and written communication skills
