In this role, you will be creating the vendor strategy and leading its adoption. Individual will lead and shape strategic conversations with the L&D Leadership Team, Strategic and Operations Team, and Business Leadership to drive vendor accountability of JJM learning, content, technology, and contract standards. This individual will work in support of J&J Credo and, “constantly strive to provide value, reduce our costs and maintain reasonable prices” while ensuring all that we do is of the highest quality.

This individual is critical in ensuring that a company's external partnerships contribute positively to its operations, financial goals, and overall organizational success. Key responsibilities include:

- Lead and shape the creation of key KPIs for vendor optimization in collaboration with SLD & Capability Business partners, JJ Learn and procurement. Individual will work appropriate teams to connect data and create dashboards.
- Creating learning vendor strategy for JJIM and establish and maintain learning vendor guidelines and governance for JJIM L&D services, including vendor engagement strategy (build-buy), selection, RFPs, and evaluation, in consultation with stakeholders from COE, TA / Business L&D, J&J Learn, and Procurement
- Builds effective vendor oversight to provide global, high quality learning solutions and drives operational efficiencies and creates effective governance
- Continually lead efforts to optimize costs associated with vendor relationships, ensuring that the company receives value for money. Explore opportunities for cost savings and process improvements and initiate projects accordingly.
- Analyze data related to vendor performance, costs, and other relevant metrics. Use data insights to make informed decisions and recommendations for improvement. Regularly report out vendor performance to COE and Businesses
- Oversee vendor performance by collaborating with COE and business L&D stakeholders against established benchmarks/KPIs and SLAs. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess vendor effectiveness and identify areas for improvement and consistently report out to key stakeholders.
- In partnership with J&J Learn and Procurement, establish and maintain preferred vendor list for JJIM, making recommendations on inclusion of vendors best suited to partner with JJIM North America Learning Excellence.
- Collaborate with Procurement to lead vendor evaluation process, selection, and approvals in alignment with JJIM vendor strategy
- Liaise closely with J&J Learn for vendor governance, operations and standards / practices to leverage for JJIM
- Liaise closely with J&J Procurement to leverage enterprise vendor tools (e.g., Aggregate) and contracting services and negotiate contracts ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company. This may involve price negotiations, delivery terms, and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Partner closely with the Leader, Strategic Planning & Operations and Business to manage/provide appropriate inputs to the division budget
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with vendor relationships, such as supply chain disruptions, financial instability, or non-compliance with regulations and/or J&J Policies

**Qualifications**:
Required Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- 10-15 Years’ experience in relevant industry experience, ideally coupled with all or a mix of finance, procurement, and/or sourcing, data & analytics, product management and project management experience is required.
- Proven experience in cost optimization and reduction and vendor management is required.
- Expertise with SAS, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau and other relevant software is required.
- Strong project management skills are required.
- Ability to influence stakeholders is required.
