TMC is currently looking to fill a Sales Coordinator for our Catering department. TMC is both a catering company AND a meal delivery company, but this position is solely focused on our catering endeavors.

**Position Summary**: The Sales Coordinator is the point person for incoming catering and event leads. They will be responsible for timely and professional correspondence with all existing and potential clients. Execution of client contracts, menus, event details, and payment processing will also be the primary responsibility of the Sales Coordinator. Working in conjunction with the Event Coordinator and the Executive Team, they will facilitate the successful and profitable execution of TMC’s off-site portion of the business.

**Tasks and Competencies**:
1. Able to work a full shift (four to eight hours) on their feet, utilizing stairways and moving through doorways.

2. Work as a team player within a concept.

3. Operate a motor vehicle within adherence to California State Law.

4. Ability to discuss TMC concepts, products, processes, and services with the public.

5. Multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining poise and courtesy.

6. Communicate clearly and effectively with the public, serving as the primary source of contact for all external inquiries.

8. Create and manage contracts including accurately charging for all facets of service and securing deposits / payments.

9. Update and manage catering menus, making updates and changes when necessary within Excel.

10. Work with a culinary team when needed to create and execute custom menus.

11. Create flyers, marketing materials, correspondence, and other media content needed to advertise TMC’s catering and event services.

12. Attend relevant networking and promotional events on behalf of TMC to create a larger vendor network and create potential sales opportunities.

**Preferred Experience**:
Education: High School Diploma minimum. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of two years experience in food & beverage event sales and execution.
