As an Airport Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of products within our multi-location store concepts at the SNA (John Wayne) Airport. Your organizational skills, self-motivation, and helpful attitude will contribute to meeting the high demands of the bustling airport environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receiving and Inspection:

- Assist with receiving products on pallets, ensuring accurate quantities and quality checks.
- Inspect incoming shipments for any damages or discrepancies and report them to the appropriate personnel.
- Verify received products against purchase orders and ensure proper documentation.
- Storage Management:

- Organize and maintain the storage areas, ensuring efficient space utilization.
- Label and categorize products appropriately for easy identification and retrieval.
- Conduct regular inventory counts to track stock levels and report any shortages or overages.
- Product and Trash Transport:

- Safely load and transport store products from the receiving area to designated store locations within the airport.
- Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, or forklifts to move heavy or bulky items.
- Ensure proper handling and care of products during transportation to prevent damages.
- Assisting the store's cleanliness with trash and recycling runs
- Collaboration and Communication:

- Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and coordinate activities effectively.
- Communicate any issues, delays, or concerns regarding product shipments, storage, or transportation to the appropriate personnel.
- Work closely with store managers to fulfill their inventory requirements and respond promptly to their requests.
- Safety and Security:

- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
- Follow airport regulations and security procedures when handling products and transporting them within the airport premises.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
- Communication with Supervisors:

- Effective communication with supervisors is critical, especially in the event of receiving discrepancies.
- Promptly report any discrepancies in received products, such as quantity or quality issues, to the supervisor.
- Provide detailed information and collaborate with them to resolve the discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Clear and accurate communication will help ensure accurate inventory records and facilitate efficient resolution of any issues that may arise during the receiving process.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in receiving, storage management, or product transportation is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects at least 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with airport operations and security procedures is an advantage.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
