Job Overview

Position Summary:
The Facility Custodian role is essential for maintaining cleanliness and order within ACI Jet's premises. The selected candidate will engage in various custodial tasks while fostering a collaborative and respectful environment with colleagues, vendors, and clients.

Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the Facilities Lead Porter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough cleaning of all ACI Jet facilities on a daily basis.
  • Order necessary supplies and equipment for custodial tasks.
  • Monitor the condition of facilities, reporting any repairs, safety issues, or service needs to the Facilities/GSE Lead.
  • Utilize company vehicles to collect supplies and materials required for job functions.
  • Adhere to protocols for using chemical cleaners and power tools to safeguard floors and fixtures.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to all ACI Jet maintenance requests.
  • Participate actively in ACI Jet's SQMS program to ensure safety and quality in all responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and to sit, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
  • Preferred: At least one year of experience in facility custodial services.

Employment Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt

Compensation: $23.00/hr | Based on Experience
