This is a Non-Represented Position.

**Summary**:
This position is responsible for managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Asset Information System and its integration with GIS, labor, and inventory control systems for Engineering Infrastructure Asset, to monitor, report, and analyze the information for existing and new infrastructure assets, including renewals, modifications, periodic inspections, corrective actions, work history, asset condition and performance, failure analysis and tracking.

This position is also responsible for the development of the Engineering Asset Information Strategy that will define asset information specifications (information to be collected), asset knowledge standards (how information is evaluated), asset information plans (how data is collected) as well as the systems and technology solutions that need to be in place to support the effective delivery of Engineering’s Asset Management initiative. The major objective is to ensure the asset information models, system solutions, and functionality meet all engineering disciplines' functional requirement specifications and that relevant usable data is produced

to support the asset life cycle management, decision-making, and reporting needs.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Asset Information System for Engineering Infrastructure Assets to monitor, report, and analyze the information for existing and new infrastructure assets, including renewals, modifications, periodic inspections, corrective actions, work history, asset condition and performance, failure analysis, and tracking.
- Plan, and coordinate with Engineering disciplines the identification of Asset Management data/information and reporting needs. Definition of data models and data attributes including spatial data, which will support the business processes and reporting needs.
- Manage all activities for Engineering that are required to develop system requirements through a series of structured sessions with user personnel as well as with designated representatives from the Corporate GIS Team and Information Technology.
- Coordinate all Engineering Department testing of Corporate Asset Management System (CAMS) Applications developed for each discipline’s assets.
- Coordinate the design, development, and implementation of Mobile Applications Develop to collect each engineering discipline's Asset Inventory and Condition Assessment data.
- Coordinate the design, development, and implementation of Mobile Applications developed to collect GIS information and work Order information (Inspection, Maintenance, replacements, corrective maintenance, etc.)
- Act as liaison with Information Technology and Engineering Disciplines to obtain approval of system design, Functional Requirement Specifications, implementation schedule, and final acceptance of the systems and technology solutions that need to be in place to support the effective delivery of Engineering’s Asset Management initiative.
- Development Engineering Assets Information Strategy that will define asset information specifications (information to be collected), asset knowledge standards (how information is evaluated), asset information plans (how data is collected), as well as data quality assurance standards.
- Manage the design, development, and integration of asset data systems with Infor
- EAM asset management software. Manage and document design sessions with Information Technology, Engineering, and Infor configuration specialists to identify the
- integration requirements. Develop documentation and obtain Engineering approval.
- Select, develop, and motivate personnel within the department. Provide career development for subordinates. Provide prompt and effective coaching and counseling. Review direct reports and approve performance appraisals.
- Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to guidelines of company safety policies and procedures. Lead by example.
