**Back-of-House Supervisor Job Duties and Expectations**

You will support the managers in Back of House operations, including the kitchen and delivery. Your primary responsibility is to ensure new BOH staff are being trained thoroughly and efficiently, using all the training guides and passports, and lead the 90-day check in program for all BOH staff. You will assist the managers in ensuring the tools and procedures are in place and used by all for successful operations, including meeting Customer Service and Food Quality Standards, and assisting with some product ordering as well. You will also provide input on staffing, staff performance, and scheduling.

Teamwork makes the dream work, so being organized and working well with others is super important You'll need to come to all the all-staff, team, and manager meetings unless excused. You'll also use tools like Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Docs to keep yourself organized, on track, and connected.

**Back-of-House Supervisor Requirements**
- Has 1+ years of shift leadership experience in the restaurant industry.
- Able to be fully Shift Leader and Cook trained within 3 months of placement in the position, if not already.
- Able to be fully Delivery Driver trained within 6 months of placement in the position, if not already.
- Has the ability to direct, develop, and motivate employees.
- Has the ability to plan, organize, work proactively, and set priorities.
- Demonstrates a high regard and ability to prioritize, plan and self-manage time.
- Exercises initiative, good judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations that require quick action.
- English language proficiency is required for this position.
- Must be 18+ to apply.
- Must pass the driver eligibility check and have a valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods. To bend, crouch, and lift up to 20-50 lbs. To use ovens, pizza cutters, and other equipment of the business.

**Back-of-House Supervisor Scheduling**

This position is 35-40 hours per week: about 30-35 hours in operations/on-shift, and about 5-10 hours on administrative tasks and meetings.

2035 E North Ave's hours are Sunday-Wednesday 11am-12am, Thursday 11am-1am, Friday-Saturday 11am-2:30am. Opening shifts typically start 1-2 hours before opening, and closing shifts typically end 1-2 hours after closing.

We expect the Supervisor to be available for late-night shifts at least once a week, as well as other high-demand shifts such as evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will also work with the leadership team to be available for emergencies and help find coverage or cover shifts as needed.
