Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Back-of-House Supervisor to join our team at Ian's Pizza Downtown. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen and delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management team in back-of-house operations, including kitchen and delivery management.
  • Train and develop new staff members, ensuring they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Assist with staff performance management, including scheduling and time-off management.
  • Contribute to the development of operational procedures and policies.
  • Work closely with the management team to ensure store cleanliness and maintain high standards of customer service and food quality.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of shift leadership experience in the food/beverage industry.
  • Able to be fully Shift Leader and Cook trained within 3 months of placement, if not already.
  • Able to be fully Delivery Driver trained within 6 months of placement, if not already.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • English language proficiency is required for this position.
  • Must be 18+ to apply.
  • Must pass the driver eligibility check and have a valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods. To bend, crouch, and lift up to 20-50 lbs. To use ovens, pizza cutters, and other equipment of the business.
Working Conditions

This position is 35-40 hours per week, with a mix of operational and administrative tasks. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will also be expected to be available for emergencies and help find coverage or cover shifts as needed.
