**About the job**

The IT Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the information technology needs of a diverse family of companies, encompassing various disciplines in construction and manufacturing sectors. This position will be critical in managing the day-to-day support needs of IT as well as providing support for a Managed Service Provider. This position demands a dynamic and adaptable IT professional, capable of navigating the complexities of a multi-company environment, and effectively aligning IT strategies with the varied needs of each business entity.

- Monday to Thursday 7am - 4:30pm
- Friday 7am - 11am

**Responsibilities**
- **Multi-Company Collaboration**: Engaging with multiple companies within the family, understanding their distinct IT needs, and ensuring cohesive technology strategies across the board.
- **Cross-Disciplinary Coordination**: Working alongside teams in construction and manufacturing, integrating IT solutions that support and enhance these varied disciplines.
- **Managed Service Provider Oversight**: Managing the company's Managed Service Provider (MSP), ensuring efficient and effective IT services, alongside offering direct help desk support to address immediate IT concerns.
- **Collaboration with Leadership**: Liaising with Business Presidents, Owners, and Direct Managers across the companies, ensuring IT services are leveraged as a valuable resource to aid business operations and growth.
- **Help Desk Management**: Overseeing general help desk operations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of IT issues and queries.
- **Infrastructure Management**: Planning, implementing, and maintaining robust IT infrastructure to support the diverse operational needs of the businesses.
- **Cybersecurity Oversight**: Developing and enforcing robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data and systems, aligning with industry best practices.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma and college degree in Information Technology our experience equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in information technology and helpdesk support.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to be highly organized
- High communication skills
- Security Clearance or ability to get and maintain a Security Clearance
