Position Summary
A Technical Project Manager responsible for providing project planning and management for established initiatives within the company. They ensure projects are completed to specification, within an established time frame and budget. This candidate will be the lead subject matter expert. Expected to improve all aspects of project planning and resource management.
Position Responsibilities
- Analyze, plan, and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
- Assign duties and responsibilities and oversee workflow of project staff
- Manage assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project
- Develop, maintain, and revise proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing
- Set and track project milestones; manage and account for unforeseen delays, and realign schedules and expectations, as needed
- Maintain project communications, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders
- Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends, as needed, to prepare project status reports
- Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
- Manage vendors, budget, and work collaboratively with Legal and Sourcing Teams
RequirementsRequired Skills

3) the ability to present information in an insightful and structured manner.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or Management or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of Project Management experience
• Professional Project Management Certification a plus
• Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods
• Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
• Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams
• Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
• Team Lead experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry
• Previous experience with Jira, Microsoft O365, and Microsoft Office Suite a plus
