**PARK MAINTENANCE WORKER I - SAN DIEGO COAST DISTRICT / NORTH SECTOR / SOUTH CARLSBAD STATE BEACH**

The reporting location for this position is South Carlsbad State Beach in Carlsbad, CA. This position will work under the supervision of Park Maintenance Chief I.
- The incumbent’s work schedule will be Wednesday-Saturday from 06:00 AM to 04:30 PM.
- The Park Maintenance Worker I will do routine cleanup and unskilled maintenance; performs various housekeeping, groundskeeping and minor maintenance tasks; answers routine questions from the public as necessary; completes miscellaneous reports.
- This position may be required to work throughout the district on occasion. Duties require this position to lead a staff of seasonal park maintenance employees in the daily operations of housekeeping, facility maintenance, and equipment operations in the day use lots. This is a challenging and rewarding position and you will be joining a solid team of professionals. The work schedule is 4/10/40 workweek.
- This position is designated as not telework eligible.
Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

Working Conditions
- Typical work activities involve frequent periods of bending, stooping and lifting.
- Perform indoor and outdoor work often in inclement weather.
