**PARK MAINTENANCE WORKER I - INLAND EMPIRE DISTRICT / SILVERWOOD SECTOR / SILVERWOOD LAKE STATE RECREATION AREA**
The reporting location for this position is Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area in Hesperia, CA. This position will work under the supervision of Park Maintenance Supervisor.
- The incumbent’s work schedule will be Friday to Tuesday from 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM.
- This position will be responsible for maintaining park facilities, structures, equipment, and grounds in a safe and sanitary condition. Additional duties include performing skilled facility maintenance and repair work in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and masonry. Responsibilities include performing equipment repair, trails maintenance, working with California Conservation Corp crews, Cal Fire inmate crews and local volunteer groups. Other duties will include ensuring facility housekeeping, ordering supplies, completing reports, conducting safety meetings and training employees. This position will also provide support to other park units within the sector as needed.

Working Conditions
Typical work activities involve frequent periods of bending, stooping and lifting. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Perform indoor and outdoor work often in inclement weather. May have extensive exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises. May work in remote locations. Able to read and write English.
